Known as the most demanding track in the world, the Nürburgring Nordschleife is the ultimate challenge to both professional racing drivers and driving enthusiasts worldwide. The 20.832 km long track has 73 turns and a 300m altitude swing from the highest to the lowest point, which means that it is a truly demanding course that requires superhuman levels of concentration to conquer.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, the Nordschleife is the Mount Everest<\/a> for automotive enthusiasts. Luckily, one specific track layout is open for public use, which means that amateur drivers can test their skills, luck and determination regardless of what car they drive. Usually, a sub-10 minute time is considered a success for the majority of cars, especially considering the fact that amateur drivers usually drive them. Achieving such a time is relatively easy if the driver has enough power in his hands because it sheds a lot of time in the straights.<\/p>\n

One such brave man is Misha Charoudin, an automotive enthusiast living at the famous track. You might not know him by name, but you’ve sure as hell heard about Boosted Boris<\/a>, and yes, that is the same Misha. Anyway, Misha drives a track-prepped VW Up! project cars, and in his latest run, he lapped the ‘Ring’s tourins route in under ten minutes.<\/p>\n

The video of the run was uploaded by the famous London-based car spotter and YouTuber Shmee150, and it features Misha giving a tour of the Nürburgring tourist track, thoroughly explaining every single bit of it while driving his Apex Sub 7Up project car flat out, upsetting much faster cars with much less experienced drivers in the process.<\/p>\n

Misha is a true master of the Green Hell<\/h2>\n

As a Nürburgring inhabitant by choice, Charoudin is obviously a Nürburgring enthusiast too, so he knows every inch of the track, and he shared his tips and tricks about driving the perfect lap around it. But, on his channel, Misha said: “To finalize, there is no such thing as ‘the perfect Nürburgring lap’ and there are always better ways to approach things that suit your car\/driving style.” You have to believe him though, as he had both perfect and imperfect laps in his career, even crashing once<\/a> at the Carousel curve in a BMW M4.<\/p>\n
