The car appealed to folks who wanted something fun to drive and still family oriented. The automotive press praised the SHO for its wonderful on-road driving manners and off-the-line acceleration. The engine used in the SHO was also exclusive to this car, and it packed a serious punch. The SHO is still a great sports sedan, there is a lot to like about the car.
